Trying to be productive - but succumbing to distraction.
I felt hopeless - is something wrong with me?
It reached the point where many mornings I wished I didn’t wake up.
I spent the next two years reading books on psychology, success - and everything else that promised “self improvement.”
Until finally, after hundreds of dollars in books and thousands of dollars in time, things began to click.
I realized that 99% of youtube videos, podcasts, and even the majority of books are too surface level to elicit long term results.
Sure, they us some temporary motivation and habits, but what’s the point if it doesn’t last?
The reason these things wouldn’t last despite all my conscious effort, was because of my subconscious.
